Informaatioteknologian filosofia on laaja-alainen vertaisarvioitu suomenkielinen artikkelikokoelma, jossa kysymystä informaatioteknologiasta lähestytään laajemmasta filosofisesta ja yhteiskuntatieteellisestä näkökulmasta.
Artikkelikokoelma toimii samalla osaltaan avauksena informaatioteknologiaa koskevalle aidon monitieteelliselle keskustelulle Suomessa. Teoksen artikkeleissa informaatioteknologiaan liittyviä ajankohtaisia kysymyksiä pohditaan muun muassa eettisestä, tieteenfilosofisesta, kasvatuksen ja organisaatio-teorian sekä digitaalisen median ja kulttuurin näkökulmista. I bought Apple’s Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard a few days ago. Pairing these devices with a PC running Microsoft Windows 7 was causing no pain at all. However, general Microsoft Windows drivers didn’t map Apple’s keyboard perfectly and Magic Mouse was not scrolling at all (to any direction). I went and Googled about it with no luck. I just couldn’t find a reasonable solution to this problem. People were even proposing to run an external third party software to make keymapping happen correctly. It just didn’t feel right. And it wasn’t.
